Meet our pastors ...
Senior Pastor Irfon Hughes
Irfon Hughes was born in Wales and came to America in 1984. He has pastored Hillcrest since 1993. With more than 40 years of ministry experience, he previously served pastorates in Massachusetts and Sheffield, England. His passion for the Reformed Faith comes to expression in his love for expository preaching and Bible teaching, and in his energetic ministry of prayer and visitation. He is an active churchman who has served on numerous presbytery and denominational committees, including chairing the Interchurch Relations Committee of the PCA. He has also chaired the Banner of Truth Organizing Committee for East Coast conferences and has himself preached widely at conferences and church events in both the United Kingdom and the United States. His published writings include articles on matters of theology, pastoral issues, and historical subjects. He is the first member of the local community to be inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, a Grove City College honorary society that recognizes outstanding service to the student body. In the midst of the demands of ministry, he also makes room for his lesser passion, golf. He resides in Grove City with his wife Ann, whom he married in 1967. They have 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
