Meet our Pastors
Pastor Steve Tipton, Senior Pastor
Teaching Elder and Pastor Steve Tipton came to Hillcrest in October, 2010. He earned a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary Seminary, Jackson, Mississippi, where he received the first annual Crossway Award for Theological Studies. While in Jackson, he interned at North Park Presbyterian Church, under direction of the Mississippi Valley Presbytery. Prior to Hillcrest, Steve received a full-time internship as Youth Director and Ministerial Assistant at Christ Presbyterian Church, Evans Georgia. Steve and his wife, Catherine, make their home in the nearby town of New Wilmington. They have two daughters, Alicia and Meaghan.
Pastor Steve Richman, Associate Pastor
Steve Richman, called as Associate Pastor in October, 2018, received his Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Arts from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Greenville, South Carolina. He interned with Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Before that, Steve attended Kent State University and then, with a diploma from the Institute for Teen Evangelism, became Executive Director of Teen World Ministries where he served for 18 years. Steve and his wife, Rachel (a Grove City College graduate) have one daughter, Martha Mae.
